Boris Karloff in Frankenstein (1931) Life-size Bust
** UNPAINTED VERSION **
The item for sale is a life-size bust of 'The Monster' from the 1931 classic: 'Frankenstein'.
The bust is hollow-cast
in grey, high-quality urethane resin.
It contains a total of 4 pieces:
The Karloff bust;
(2) electrodes (neck bolts);
'Frankenstein 1931' name plate;
The portrait and the base are sculpted and cast as a single piece - so the bust is ready to display or paint straight out of the box.
Our Karloff bust is intended to be painted, but a few of our buyers happily display theirs as is.
The castings are very clean with typically just a very slight seam that runs from the base to the back of his head.
If you're planning to display as is...just send me a note and I can remove the seam and glue the bolts for you.
